Mother’s Day Weekend at Banff’s castle in the mountains with #jamestaylor and #jacksonbrowne in concert in Calgary. Someone’s living a charmed life.

I miss this little girl so much. It’s been nearly two weeks since she passed and I just can’t pull myself together. The writing is suffering cause how do you write about love when your heart is hurting, but sweet Bella is at peace.

I'm stealing this quote from my daughter, who's been enjoying an extended vacation in Hawaii thanks to our Pandemic friend, Covid. You know what...sometimes we have to 'ride the wave' and take life as it comes, hoping for the best. Whatever you're doing today...add baileys to your coffee, pretend you're in Margaritaville and Ride the Wave.

Tuesday's mood captures the setting at Temple Cabin at The Post Hotel. For readers who don't know...the premise of A Mountain of Sunshine is loosely based on my daughter and son-in-law's love story. Yes, they're graciously letting me tell their story.

While I dream of summer, the blooms of spring make my heart sing.

Sometimes when my life is difficult...I find solace and comfort in laughter, otherwise, I'd cry. Today is a great day to find relief and humor in laughter.
